Angela Avetisyan was born in Armenia and got her musical training in Russia from one of the most distinguished trumpet players in the country – Sergey Pron. Angela graduated from International Music College Freiburg, where she studied under the direction of the excellent and experienced American trumpet player Gary Barone. 2013 she got her Master Degree in Munich where she studied with a legendary German trumpet player Claus Reichstaller. Angelas sound is unmistakable: airy and light, warm and gentle, but at the same time energetic with a strong attack. Angela’s melodic compositions and her interpretations of jazz standards and pop hits go straight to the heart of a listener.
